Privacy Policy

Voice Isolation — Clean Audio ("the App") is published by Bulpara Inc ("we", "us", "our"). The short version: we don't collect, transmit, or store any of your audio, video, or personal data on a server. Everything happens on your iPhone.
1. What we do not collect
- Your recorded or imported audio files
- Your videos
- Cleaned output files
- Any voice content
- Names, emails, phone numbers, or contact information
- Location data
- Browsing or usage history outside the App
We do not run any backend servers that receive your data. The App processes every clip locally on your device using Apple's AVAudioEngine and bundled Core ML models.
2. What stays on your device
The following information is stored only on your iPhone, in the App's sandboxed storage:
- Your recorded and imported clips (originals + cleaned versions)
- Your processing preferences (default cleanup preset, export format, notification preferences, theme)
- Your daily free-tier usage count (resets at local midnight)
- A flag indicating whether you've completed onboarding
If you delete the App, this data is removed by iOS.
3. Subscriptions and payments
In-app purchases (Voice Isolation Pro monthly and annual subscriptions) are handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit framework. We never see your payment details, Apple ID, or billing address. Apple sends us only an anonymous indication that an active subscription exists for your device.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
4. Advertising (free tier only)
When you're on the free tier, the App displays banner ads on the Home and History tabs and an occasional interstitial ad after exporting a clip. Ads are served by Google AdMob.
To deliver and measure ads, AdMob may collect:
- Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), if you grant permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt
- Approximate location (city-level, derived from IP)
- Standard device information (device model, iOS version, language)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
You can decline tracking permission when prompted, in which case AdMob will serve non-personalized ads. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
Pro subscribers see no ads and no advertising data is collected from Pro accounts.
5. Permissions the App requests
- Microphone — required to record new clips. Audio captured with the microphone never leaves your device.
- Photos (Pro only) — required to import videos for cleaning and to save exported videos back to your Photo Library. The App only accesses photos and videos you explicitly select.
- Notifications — optional. Used to notify you when a long-running clip finishes processing while the App is in the background.
- Tracking (free tier only) — optional. Allows AdMob to serve personalized ads. You can decline.
6. Children
The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since we don't collect personal data from anyone, no special provisions are required under COPPA or similar laws.
7. Data retention and deletion
Because we do not collect any data on our servers, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Data stored on your device can be removed at any time by deleting clips within the App or by deleting the App from your iPhone. You do not need to make a "data deletion request" — there is no server-side data to delete.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app and on this page. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
